An American study published last year reveals that people who are more bodily asymmetrical (the one side of the body not being identical to the other) are also more generous. I therefore conducted a quite thorough examination of the two American presidential candidates, Obama’s and McCain’s, bodily symmetry by using a face symmetry measuring tool. I found McCain to have a more symmetrical face, thus he is the less generous of the two candidates.
How will McCain circumvent the fact that his opponent has a more generous face? Well, the above mentioned study also found that the relationship between generosity and bodily symmetry was only evident among males. Females did not show any signs of this correlation, and moreover they were in general more generous than males. Accordingly, we now know why McCain appointed a woman as his vice-president candidate.
